My Dermatologist’s TOP 3 Anti-Aging TIPS!

My dermatologist told me his TOP 3 anti-aging tips that he feels are most important for everyone to do for their basic skin care routine. There are other things you can do in addition for anti-aging (skin peels, etc) but these are his basic 3 that he recommends to men and women and he feels these 3 things are the most important skin care items especially if you are over 40. My dermatologist is a skin cancer specialist, so he sees sun damaged, aging skin all the time (he does not sell any skin care products or do botox or filler injections, he just specializes in sun damage/skin cancer). I always recommend doing your own research before trying any skin care products or treatments. I’ll list below some products in different price ranges (he did not mention any products):
Neutrogena oil free age shield spf: (amazon, prices start at .99)

Olay regenerist spf: (amazon, link shows all olay regenerist spf products with varying prices)

It Cosmetics CC+ with spf 50 (tinted; I use this as my foundation in shade medium): (ulta, )
Revision intelishade tinted spf 45 (this is lighter coverage than the IT cc cream, but does adjust to ALL skin colors): (amazon, starts at .82)

Retin A (this is prescription in the U.S.)

Retinaldehyde (this only takes the body 1 conversion step to convert to retinoic acid/retin a): Avene retinaldehyde: (walgreens .00)

Osmosis retinaldehyde vitamin A serum: (dermstore, for the level 4 and for level 3)

Retinols (these take the body 2 conversion steps to turn it into retinoic acid/retin a):
Roc retinol: (walmart, link shows all retinol products in the Roc line)

CeraVe retinol: (walmart .37)

Retinol Body Cream (this can be used on the face as well): (walmart .83)

Neutrogena retinol products: (walmart, link shows all retinol products in the neutrogena line)

CeraVe moisturizers: (amazon, link shows all cerave moisturizers)

Olay moisturizers: (amazon, link shows all olay moisturizers)

Nivea Creme moisturizer: (this has been compared to La Mer. Amazon link shows all nivea creme listings)

IT Cosmetics confidence in a cream moisturizer: (ulta )

Thought I would share what my dermatologist said he thought were the most important skin care tips. It's not new info, but these are his top tips for the skin. He did not recommend any specific brands, so I went ahead and just listed a few in each of the 3 categories he talked about. xoxo

Great video and right on target. My dermatologist does provide botox, etc services at his office but he says the exact same thing as your dermatologist. So glad you have a derm. you like and get checked for skin cancer. Cheers!

I so appreciate your quick responses. I think you said you use hydroquinone for 4 months and then a month of something else. My question is once the brown marks have dissipated is there a need to keep continuing as long as you always apply sunscreen every day. Thanks.

A bit off topic question…I've used the derma roller a few times 0.5 and applied Matryxl 3000 afterwards and then a moisturizer. I've noticed that my skin looks tight and more wrinkled around my forehead and mouth. I'm taking a break from it now, but is this normal at the start? Some have said to derma roll often, others have said to space it out. I think I may have done too often, which was every other day, but only 4 times total. Thanks a lot for your input, as you seem extremely knowledgeable about the subject.

Thanks Anne Marie. I do believe Retin A is amazing. The studies are definitive about this.

This item is pure and I feel safe using it . I am seeing some difference in my skin but have only been using a short time. I like this Argan Rain %100 Pure Argan Oil product along with everything else I have purchased from this company. I can purchase with confidence.

Hi Ann. I have a question I'm 73, and I know it's late in life, but even tho I have always used sun screen for years, I discovered you ladies on utube and have watched all summer getting fabulous info. I want to look no worse when I'm 80, so I'm totally dedicated now as you ladies are to better skin care. I look a little younger than my age, and as Maryellen says, I want to give Mother Nature a "run for her money" Here's my question. I'm using retin a, Vit c, coq10 serum, and hyaluronic acid. I've also started derma rolling with your expert advice. I have a battery operated soft spinning brush I use for cleaning and exfoliating my face. Do you feel that is appropriate to use with all the other products I put on my face, or is it too harsh. I'm not sure, and don't want to injure my skin. Thank you for all your wonderful demonstrations and information. I've learned so much. ❤️ Carolyn Hamilton

#️⃣getting list of products know. Can't find video that you mentioned toothpaste for whitening. Can you repeat. Thanks for the hair color but do you get it to lighten your roots without first bleaching them?
